Children’s Ministry
WHY CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES?
The purpose of the Children’s Ministries is to partner with parents in teaching the Gospel and discipling children. Our desire is to build kingdom disciples who will tell the story of Jesus to the next generation.
WHAT’S UP IN CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES?
SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Children learn how God relates to His covenant people, how to trust and obey Him through His promises, the importance of a personal relationship with Him, and how to worship God and enjoy Him forever through His Son. We offer classes for infants through sixth grade on Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH:
Each Sunday four year olds and kindergartners leave worship service before the sermon to have a Bible lesson designed for their age level. This helps prepare them for future worship in the sanctuary.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR:
Children’s choir is a fun time during a portion of the evening worship service when children learn the importance of worshipping God through music by learning songs, musicals and games relating to music.
KINGDOM KIDS:
On Wednesday evenings, four years through sixth grade are involved in learning the cathechism and Bible study.
ARTS & SPORTS CAMP:
For a week in June, four years through sixth grade gather each day to dig deeper into God’s Word, while also learning about missions. An offering is collected to help support mission work. The week concludes with a celebration program and fellowship on Friday evening.
FALL FESTIVAL:
In October, families from within the church and in our surrounding neighborhoods come together for some old fashion fun and fellowship. The children enjoy wearing costumes, playing games and eating candy.
NURSERY:
We provide a nursery where God’s love is shown through the care and nurture of our teachers. Nursery is provided for Sunday school, morning worship, evening worship and on Wednesday evenings. We have a healthy nursery policy.
